Tesla. Yup, the Silicon Valley based company which manufactures the amazingly fast electric car - the Roadster. The geniuses at Tesla have come up with something really substantial this time. It's called - The Model S. The Model S is a reaaaallllyyy far, far jump from any car you've seen yet. It's not made it's way to Indian shores yet, and probably, it never will. But, it's awesome and hence, I felt a post on it is absolutely necessary.
The Model S is an absolute looker. Is completely different from the Mercedes E Classes or those 5 series's.

It's truly an amazing car from Tesla. It's a 7 seater sedan ! Comes with a whole roof panoramic glass panel ! And, the top of the line variant does 300 miles on a full battery at 55 mph. AND, it also does 0 to 60 mph (100km/ph) in 4.4 seconds ! It's also made it to Time magazine's best inventions of 2012.
At the base price of $49,900 (after US Federal Tax Credit), Model S comes equipped with the 40 kWh battery.
